Question 1037515: Hi There,
I was hoping you could help me solve the following mathematical equation which I can not seem to wrap my head around!
I went through a red light camera while the light was still orange and have received a $497 fine. This is my first fine in over 20 years of driving and I am not happy.
The first photograph shows my car had travelled almost a full car's length in the time
the camera's shutters clicked after the light turned red and took the shot.
Are there any other requirements you need to workout this equation?
I would like to fight this fine to keep my driving record clean, but I need to know I can prove I am in the right legally.
I really do hope you can help!
Q) If a car was traveling at 56 Kilometres per hour how far could it get in 0.5 of a
second, and is the distance travelled greater than the length of a 2004 Susuki Liana or a standard size car or more?
Thank you for taking the time to consider and possibly answer my question.
With Regards,
Julie Pederick.
