Question 1037131: Hi,
I have a maths test tomorrow and i am pretty much sweet except for one thing.
Questions like:
If log(base7)2=0.36 and log(base7)=0.56, find:
(a) log(base7)6 (Now this one is easy i.e log(base7)2 x log(base7)3 = 0.36+0.56 = 0.92
But i don't have a definite thought process going on. Could you possibly give me a set method? Use log(base7)14 as an example aswell please.
Thanks heaps

You can put this solution on YOUR website! log_7(14)
= log(14)/log(7)
1.3562
i'm not sure this is what you were looking for. But you'd do the others the same way. For example:
log_7(2) = log(2)/log(7) = 0.356207

But i don't have a definite thought process going on. Could you possibly give me a set method? Use log(base7)14 as an example as well please.
Thanks heaps
