Hi there,
With regard to the two triangular faces
either end of the prism. The hypotenuse
= √ 14^2 + 19^2
= 23.6cm.
Now you have 5 faces:-
1) Base = 19 x 22 = 418 cm^2
2) Upright back = 14 x 22 = 308 cm^2
3) Slanted face = 23.6 x 22 = 519.2 cm^2
4) 2 triangular ends
= 1/2(19 x 14) x 2
= 266 cm^2
Added together:
418 + 308 + 519.2 + 266
= 1511.2 cm^2
Hope this helps :-)
