You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi there,
Volume of rectangular tank
= length x width x height
= 4 x 2 x 4.8
= 38.4 m^3
Half full it will contain
38.4/2 = 19.2 m^3
4000 liters = 4 m^3
So new volume = 23.2 m^3
Volume of rectangular tank
= length x width x height
23.2 = 4 x 2 x height
Height = 23.2/8
Height = 2.9 meters.
This is the depth.
Hope this helps :-)
