: Theproblem is to solve these 2 equations by graphing.
Eq.1:x-y=4 I came up with the ordered pairs (4,0)(5,1) (6,2)
Eq.2: -x-y=6 The negative signs confuse me. How do I find the ordered pairs?
I don't have a problem with the actually plotting of the points, I just need help figuring out the pairs.
Please help!
Thanks,
Vicki

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve the equation for x or y and plug in values to find to find the other one

Eq.2: -x-y=6 ... -y=6+x ... y=-6-x
this gives the following points (0,-6), (-1,-5), (1,-7), (-3,-3), (3,-9)
