You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(-1)=5(-1)-4=-9
You put the number, here -1, in for x and solve.
Now, if you meant the INVERSE of the function
y=5x-4
rewrite changing x and y
x=5y-4
solve for y
x+4=5y
(x+4)/5= y
