You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
By the terms of the question, we have:
x^2+y^2=58
x^2-y^2=40;
If we add these two together, we get:
2x^2=98
x^2=49
x=7
y=3;
Checking, we get:
49+9=59
49-9=40!!!!!!!!!!!!
