Question 1032833: Hello. My question is as follows: There is an angle in the second quadrant. If we know sec Θ = -7/25 what are the values of the other 5 trig functions?
I understand somewhat how to get the answer to a question of this type, but when I got to the pythagorean theorem, things got a little funny with a negative under the radical. What I got was: 25^2 + x^2 = 7^2 0r 625 + x^2 = 49. This works out to: x^2 = -576, at this point I would normally square both sides to get rid of the exponent, but the negative wont allow for that. Right? Anyway, please let me know if I've messed up at all. Thank you.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hello. My question is as follows: There is an angle in the second quadrant. If we know sec Θ = -7/25
-----------------
sec = -7/25 --> cos = -25/7
No real number solution.
