Question 1032720: The number of people in the Denver suburban area has grown exponentially since 1950 according to the equation P = Poe^kt. In 1950 there were 350,000 people and in 1960 there were 705,300 people. How many people lived in the Denver suburban area in 1980?
I need help properly setting up this equation.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find logarithms of both sides and you can put the equation into a LINEAR form. Then you have two data points, being (0,350000) and (10,705300). You find the constants using the points to make two specific equations according to the linear equation form you found.
Year 1980 would correspond to t=30. Notice the points selected were arranged for (t,P), and t is for years since 1950.
I did not do the work of any of the steps. You should be able to do the steps needed.
