You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Please note: The previously posted solution to this problem is WRONG!

3x + 3 = 6(x+5)
3x + 3 = 6x + 30

Subtract 3x from each side to get the variables on the right side:
3x - 3x + 3 = 6x - 3x + 30
3=3x + 30

Subtract 30 from each side to get the number terms on the left side:
3 - 30 = 3x + 30 - 30
-27 = 3x

Divide both sides by 3:
x= -9
