.
For which value of x does (square root of x-5)+2=6
Thank you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
sqrt%28x-5%29+%2B+2 = 6  ---> (add - 2 to both sides, and get)
sqrt%28x-5%29 = 4.         ( square both sides and get)
x -5 = 16.
x = 16 + 5 = 21.
Check it!
