You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3%2F%28x-1%29-6%2F%28x%5E2-1%29=1
3%2F%28x-1%29-6%2F%28x-1%29%28x%2B1%29=1 Factor.
3%28x%2B1%29-6=%28x%2B1%29%28x-1%29 multiply both sides times (x-1)(x+1)
3x+3-6=x^2-1 Expand.
x^2-3x+2=0 subtract 3x-3 from each side.
(x-1)(x-2)=0
x=2, x=1
x=1 gives a division by zero error in the original equation.
x=2 is the only answer.
Check:
3/1-6/3=1...3-2=1
