Question 1031613: In triangle ABC, angle A=15°, side a=5 and side b=12
Use sine rule to find possible values for angle B.
I've managed to calculate 111.6° (1dp) but unsure how to find 2nd possible angle
would appreciate help. Thank you

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi there,
b/Sin(B) = a/Sin(A)
12/Sin(B) = 5/Sin(15)
5 x Sin(B) = 12 x sin(15)
Sin(B) = 12 x sin(15)/5
Sin(B) = 0.6212
Angle B = 38.4 degrees
Given: Angle (A) = 15 degrees
Calculated: Angle(B) = 38.4 degrees
180 - (38.4 + 15)
= 126.6 Angle (C)
Hope this helps :-)
