You can put this solution on YOUR website!

If 4 is added to twice a number

2x+4

and this sum is multiplied by 4

4(2x+4)

the result is the same as

4(2x+4) =

if the number is multiplied by -6

-6x

and two is added to the product

-6x+2

what is the number

4(2x+4) = -6x+2

Bet you can solve that.

Hint: the answer is not a positive number.
