One revolution is equal to one circumference of the wheel.
C = (pi)d = (3.14)(36) = 113.04 inches.
Now one mile = 5280 feet = 63360 inches.
Thus we want to know how many times 113.04 inches goes into 63360 inches...
It equals 63360/113.04 = 560.5 revolutions.
