First find t then multiply both sides by 6
to get 6t:

 3t-7 = 5t then 6t=

 3t-7 = 5t
   +7     +7
 -----------
 3t   = 5t+7
-5t    -5t
------------
-2t   =    7
  t   =    7%2F%28-2%29
  t   =    -7%2F2

To find 6t, multiply both sides by 6

 6t   =    6%2A%28-7%2F2%29
 6t   =    -42%2F2
 6t   =    -21
