You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I am more than £1.50 and less than £4.50.
This means that I am less than £3.00 .
My amount in pence is a multiple of 3 and 50.
Let's check multiples of 50
50 100 150 200 250
Notice that 150 is the only number divisible by 3.
So our answer is £1.50.

Why don't you list the multiples of 3 and 50 that're BETWEEN 150 and 450, exclusive? You will then see the amount.
