and interest be y
x+y = 550
y = (2/9) x
9y=2x
9x+9y = 4950
9x+2x= 2950
11x = 4950
x= 450
y = 100
100 in 5 years
20 in 1 year
On Rs 450 interest = 20 for 1 year
rate (100/450) * 20 = 4.44 %
