SO far, I have used this weird equation with 3 variables& i'm pretty sure I messed up somewhere? Could u point out my errors or something and explain how to do it? Here's my work:
X+y=z
0.1x+0.15y=100(0.12z)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Saline
percent ---------------- quantity
Saline A 10.00% ---------------- x ml
Saline B 15.00% ------ 100 - x ml
Mixture 12.00% ---------------- 100
100
10.00% x + 15.00% ( 100 - x ) = 12.00% * 100
10 x + 15 ( 100 - x ) = 1200
10 x + 1500 - 15 x = 1200
10 x - 15 x = 1200 - -1500
-5 x = -300
/ -5
x = 60 ml 10.00% Saline A
40 ml 15.00% Saline B
