You can put this solution on YOUR website!
We are given
:
10 litres solution of blue and white paint in the ratio of 2/3, therefore
:
we have 4 litres of blue paint and 6 litres of white paint
:
we want a ratio of blue to white to be 3/2 with 6 litres of white paint
:
3x/6 = 3/2
:
6x = 18
:
x = 3
:
therefore we 9 litres of blue paint BUT we started with 4 litres of blue paint
:
*************************************
we have to add 5 litres of blue paint
*************************************
:
note that 9/15 = 60%
