Question 1030443: Ineed ur help with the following problem:
We have created a 90% confidence interval for µ with the result (9, 14). What
conclusion will we make if we test H0 : µ = 19 verses Ha : µ 6= 19 at α = 0.10?
alpha = 0.1
alpha/2 = 0.05 there fore 1.645 or -1.645 and 9,14 falls in the rejection region there for Reject the Null hypothesis

You can put this solution on YOUR website! I need ur help with the following problem:
We have created a 90% confidence interval for µ with the result (9, 14).
9 < u < 14
---------------------
What conclusion will we make if we test
Ho : µ = 19 verses
Ha : µ # 19
at α = 0.10?
-------------------------
Comment:: You must have a sample mean somewhere in your problem.
Does the sample mean fall in the 90% confidence interval??
If it does, you accept Ho ; if it does not, you reject Ho.
--------------------
Cheers,
Stan H.
