You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi there,
With two triangles possessing
hypotenuses on the same line.
One triangle having height of 27
and a base of 'b'
The other triangle having height
of 'b' and a base of 3.
27/b = b/3
Cross multiply
b^2 = 81
b = √81
b = 9
One triangle will have height 27
and a base of 9 (b)
Slope = 3
The other triangle having a height
of 9 (b) and a base of 3.
Slope = 3
Hope this helps :-)
