You can put this solution on YOUR website! For every 75 cars made, then
1/3 X 75=25 cars are red, or 25/75 of the total
20 are blue, or 20/75 of the total
75-25-20=30 are green, or 30/75 of the total
The factory produced 960 cars with CD player, which represented 70% of the blue cars and 40% of the red cars. Thus:
960=.7 blue cars+.4 red cars
=.7(20/75)+.4(25/75)
960=.32(total cars)
Total number of cars produced is 960/.32=3000 cars
30/75 X 3000= total green cars produced= 1200!!!!!!
