How do I solve log base 4(x+5)=3+log base 4(x+2)?
---------------------
log4(x+5) - log4(x+2) = 3
-------------------------
log4[(x+5)/(x+2)] = 3
---------------------
(x+5)/(x+2) = 4^3 = 48
-------------------
x+5 = 48x + 96
-------
47x = -91
-------
x = -91/47 = -2 7/47
--------------------------
