You can put this solution on YOUR website! I am working with the function y=-3 cos (2(x-pi/4))-1.
I have to graph the parent function and I'm not sure if the parent function is y=-3cos2x or y=3cos2x. How do you know which one it is??
-----
The parent is y = cos(x) not y = -cos(x)
Does that help?
Cheers,
