⇒(3+B)×B = 2[3+B +B] = 2(3+2B)
⇒B²+3B = 6 +4B
⇒B²- B -6 =0
⇒B²-3B +2B -6 =0

⇒(B-3)(B+2)=0
∴B = 3 cm since value cannot be negative
