False. A mean of 60 with SD of 5 will have less variation than a mean of 50 with SD of 10, and so values in the former will be on the average closer to the mean of 60, hence will look narrower. Also, the coefficient of variation of the first distribution is 0.0833, whereas the the second distribution is 0.2. Thus the 2nd distribution has greater variation in values, hence looking more spread out.
