| Question 1027469: I have no idea what I am doing on this homework that I have. I guess I wasn't paying attention. Can someone please help? I'm in 7th grade but I'm learning 8th grade math because I'm above level. How the heck do i find an angle to a right triangle. It's missing. This homework was due a long time ago too. I think I was absent because I'm usually a really smart person. Okay so when someone responds like the angel they are, I will tell you the other problems. You know what never mind i just need the equation on how to find it. I need to find the missing lengths on the right triangle. I'm so sorry for sounding unprofessional or something but i really need to be taught this because as of now i am failing math.
 thanks,
 Keely

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Isn't it amazing how fast you can get behind in math? It's like walking into the middle of a conversation and
trying to figure out who they're talking about and what's
 so important about it.
Is this trigonometry or just plain geometry?
Are you given everything except 1 angle?
You've got to be a LOT more explicit
 -----------------------------------
 In general, if
  is the unknown angle, and
is the side opposite , and is the side adjacent to
, and is the hypotenuse, then:

  ----------------------
 Then
becomes the inverse of these functions

  ------------------------
If you're not up to trig yet, this is a waste of time.
If it's just pain old geometry, then
 (1) The sum of the angles of ANY triangle =
degrees (2) Suppose you're looking for angle
  (3) Suppose
degrees, and of course degrees (4) Then you can say:
  ---------------------
 Now solve:

  degrees ----------------------
In college, they have remedial EVERYTHING, but it's like deja vu
ALMOST all over again. Paying attention is a heck of a lot more easy.

1st, you don't need to include the word, "heck." 2nd, you need to include SPECIFIC problems with instructions so someone can help you to understand what you may've missed after being absent
