You're rate of working is:
[ 1 doghouse built ] / [ 6 hrs ]
--------------------------
It takes 10 times as long to build 10 doghouses
[ number to be built ] / [ rate of building them ] = [ time to build them ]
+10+%2F+%28%28+1%2F6+%29%29+=+60+
+60%2F8+=+7.5+
It will take 7 and 1/2 hrs to build 10 doghouses

If you can build 1 in 6 hours, then you can build 10 in 6(10), or 60 hours
