Question 1026806: I am wondering if some can assist me in finding the solution.
Which one of the following is true about the graph of 𝑥 = 3 + |𝑦|?
A. It is the graph of a function.
B. It is symmetric with respect to the origin.
C. It is symmetric with respect to the x-axis.
D. It is symmetric with respect to the y-axis.
I believe the correct answer is D

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
C. It is symmetric with respect to the x-axis.
It is not symmetric wrt the y-axis because the point (-x,y) is not on the graph if (x,y) is.
It is symmetric wrt the x-axis because the point (x,-y) is on the graph if (x,y) is.
