Question 1026753: 1. Construct a rational function that is undefined at x=-5 and x=4 such that the point (0,-9) lies on the graph of the function.
2. Find the equation of a line, if the line passes through (2,2) and the Y-intercept is twice the x-intercept.

Thank You. :)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
answer to number 1.

y = 180 / ((x+5) * (x-4))

the denominator is equal to 0 when x = -5 or x = 4.

when x = 0, the equation becomes 180 / (5 * -4) which is equal to 180 / -20 which is equal to -9.

here's the graph.
