You can  put this solution on YOUR website! the x-intercept is when the graph crosses (or touches) the x-axis; at this point, y=0
 
 
similarly: the y-intercept is when the graph crosses (or touches) the y-axis; at this point, x=0
 
 
so to find an intercept, set the other value equal to 0 and solve
 
 
x-int ... 0=(-2/3)x ... x=0
 
 
y-int ... y=(-2/3)0 ... y=0
 
 
both intercepts are at the origin (0,0)
