The distance from the sun to planet Jupiter is 483,000,000 miles. The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second. Use scientific notation to find the number of seconds it takes for light from the sun to reach the Jupiter. How many minutes is that?

483x10^6/186x10^3 = 2.60x10^3 seconds = (2.60x10^3)/(6x10) = 0.433x10^2
