What is the size of the largest angle in the quadrilateral, in degrees?
Teacher gave the answer: 225 , but couldn’t work it out the way. Thanks!
If my diagram is what you meant, then you can point out to your teacher that it is impossible for two angles of a convex quadrilateral to both measure 225 degrees. The sum of the angles of any quadrilateral is 360 degrees, and 2 times 225 is 450. The sum of the two congruent largest angles is 225. Angle A is 90 because it is the vertex of a square. Angle C is 45 because it is 360 divided by 8. 90 plus 45 is 135. 360 minus 135 is 225. 225 divided by 2 is 112.5.
