A) 3x-4y=5 multiply both sides times 12
B) 3x+4y=-11 multiply both sides times 12

6x====-6
x=-1 divide each side by six
-3-4y=5 substitute -1 for x in equation A)
-4y=8 add 3 to both sides.
y=-2 divide each side by -4
