Question 102321: how do you solve two step equations? i am in ninth grade, and to tell you the truth, i am not very good at math but i do have a b- for a grade. my name is nikol so if you can help me that would be great!!! thanks Answer by elima(1433) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Two-step equation;
ex.
3n-3=24
first step is to get rid of the three on the left side and move it to the right side(you are trying to get n by itself)so you are going to add it to both sides of the equation;
3n-3+3=24+3
3n=27
step two, divide each side ny 3, you want to get rid of the three on the left side, remember you want yo get n by itself;
n=9
Hope this helps!
