You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hi there,
Gradient = y2 - y1/x2 - x1
Gradient = 5-(-1)/3 - (-2)
Gradient = 5+1/3+2
Gradient = 6/5
Using line equation:
y - b = m(x - a)
m = 6/5 (a,b) = (3,5)
y - 5 = 6/5(x - 3)
y - 5 = 6/5x - 18/5
y = 6/5x - 18/5 + 25/5 (5)
y = 6/5x + 7/5
or
5y = 6x + 7
Hope this helps :-)
