Question 1022942: There are four times as many swimmers as non swimmers . If there are twenty people in the pool , How many are swimmers? Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hi there,
Make number of non swimmers = 'x'
Swimmers = 4x
x + 4x = 20
5x = 20
x = 20/5
x = 4
Nonswimmers = 4
Swimmers = 16
Hope this helps :-)
