y+=+k%2Fx%5E2 for some constant of proportionality. If x is halved...
y+=+k%2F%28x%2F2%29%5E2+=+%284k%29%2Fx%5E2, making the new y value four times as big as the old y value.
If x was tripled, then
y+=+k%2F%283x%29%5E2+=+k%2F%289x%5E2%29, making the new y value nine times as small as the old y value.
