Assuming this is: 5x%2F4+%2B+%281%2F8%29%28x+%2B+3%29+=+3, we get:
10x + x + 3 = 24 -------- Multiplying by LCD, 8
11x + 3 = 24
11x = 24 - 3
11x = 21
