f%28g%28x%29%29...in this case function f%28x%29 have %28x%29=g%28x%29 which is x%5E2
so, you have
f%28x%5E2%29=x%5E2-2
and, same here:
g%28f%28x%29%29=g%28x-2%29=%28x-2%29%5E2=x%5E2-4x%2B4
