Hi

What is the probability that a committee of 6 students will contain the following?
P(0f an event) = Number of favorable outcomes/ Total number of outcomes
Examples below based on combination probability: nCr= n!/[r!(n-r)!]
a.) 2 sophomores P = (4C2)(11C4) / 15C6 = 6/5005
b.) 2 juniors and 3 seniors P = (5C2)(6C3)(4C1)/ 15C6 = 10*20*4/5005= 800/5005
c.) at least 4 seniors P = (6C4)(11C2)/15C6 + (6C5)(11C1)/15C6 + (6C6)(11C0) 15C6
