Question 1020237: I am trying to find the steps to solve this one. Any help will be appreciated! Thanks!
Assume 12+24+36+...+12n=6n(n+1) is true for all positive integers n. If we add 12(n+1) to the left hand side, what is the value of the new right hand side?
Answer is: 6(n+1)(n+2)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If you add 12(n+1) to the left side, you should also add 12(n+1) to the right side. In other words, the right side becomes 6n(n+1) + 12(n+1)
= 6(n+1)(n +2) after factoring out 6(n+1) from both terms.
