Question 1020097: I need help on this problem. I would like to know how to solve this problem. 30 people are shopping in A music store. 45 minutes later , there are 13 people in the store. What is the percent of decrease in the number of people in the store? Found 2 solutions by ewatrrr, solver91311:Answer by ewatrrr(24785) (Show Source):
Percent increase or decrease. Subtract the ORIGINAL number from the NEW number. Divide the difference by the ORIGINAL number. Multiply by 100 and affix a percent sign. If the result is positive, then you have a percent increase. If the number is negative, you have a percent decrease.
