Hi there,
z/5 = z - 2
This is actually:-
z/5 = z - 2/1
Cross multiply
z x 1 = 5(z - 2)
z = 5z - 10
Collect like terms
z - 5z = - 10
-4z = -10
z = -10/-4
z = 2.5
