Question 1019966: Ok. The problem is: Two aircraft start at the same time to fly 4,800 miles. One goes 120 miles an hour and arrives 2 hours later. Find the average speed of each plane.
I'm having trouble setting up the equation. Once I have it set up I'll know what to do from there, but I'm not sure what to do to set it up.

Your equation is

4800%2F120 - 4800%2Fx = 2.

where x is an unknown speed of the second aircraft.
