Question States***

X + Z + X + Z = 360 |Opposite angles Equal

2(4a-40) + 2(2a-8) = 360  |Opposite angles Equal

12a = 360 + 80 + 16

a = 38

the angles of the parallelogram are: = 112°4a-40 and 68°  2a-8

CHECKING our answer***

2*112 + 2*68=  = 224 + 136 = 360
