Question 1018187: I was given a set of triangles (6). For the first 3 I have to find the unknown side length
1) 3,x,9
2) 18,10,x
3) 14,4,x
Then for the set where I have to find the values of the variables. And write it in radical form.
1) 8,8,x
2) 10, y, y
3) a, b, and 3 square root 2 (there is also 60 degrees in the triangle)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! None of the first three are solvable with the info you've given. You can find a *range* of possible values for x using the triangle inequality, but we can't figure out the value of x otherwise.
Same thing with the next three.
