You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the perimeter of the kite is 66 cm.
one side is equal to x.
the other side is equal to 2x-3.

there are 2 sides of value x.
there are 2 sides of value (2x-3).

add up all 4 sides and they should equal the perimeter of the kit.

2x + 2 * (2x-3) = 2x + 4x - 6 = 6x - 6 = 66.

add 6 to both sides of this equaiton to get 6x = 72.

divide both sides of this equation by 6 to get x = 12.

2x-3 is equal to 2*12 - 3 = 24 - 3 = 21.

one side of the kite measures 12 cm.

the other side of the kit measures 21 cm.

2*12 + 2*21 = 24 + 42 = 66 cm togal perimeter.
