You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hi there Pete,
Convert the centimetres to metres
1200cm = 12m
600cm = 6m
Volume of cylinder = Pi x radius^2 x height.
Volume = Pi x 3^2 x 12
Volume = 339.3m^3 (1 decimal place)
2)
800cm = 8m
600cm = 6m
Volume of cylinder = Pi x radius^2 x height.
Volume = Pi x 3^2 x 8
Volume = 226.2m^3 (1 decimal place)
Hope this helps :-)
